Catherine D. DeAngelis, MD, also known as "Dr. D" is our guest on the Faculty Factory this week. In 2000, she became the first woman and the first pediatrician to earn the position of editor of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
Before JAMA, Dr. DeAngelis served as Professor and Vice Dean of Faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md.
